The Clinical Senate was commissioned to review the proposed changes to the Stroke Rehabilitation pathways across Walsall and Wolverhampton and provide a clinical opinion on the view that implementation will lead to improved patient outcomes for the populations of Wolverhampton and Walsall by proposing to transform the post-acute stroke rehabilitation pathways across Wolverhampton and Walsall to a model that increases the rehabilitation of patients in their home environment and reduces the inpatient rehabilitation provision.
