National Clinical Senates Advice and Review Log

Reviews conducted have been summarised by all Senates nationally. The log allows users to find Senates’ advice by searching by geography or category (topic), providing links to all published reports by all Senates. The log is hosted by the South East Clinical Senate and can be accessed at https://secsenate.nhs.uk/topic-log-home/.

National Clinical Senates Position Statement

Clinical Senates were originally established in 2013 to provide high quality, independent, and wherever possible, evidenced based, strategic clinical advice and guidance to any requesting party within the local health and care system. Following the formalisation of Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), the National Clinical Senates position paper has been updated to reflect these changes. The paper confirms continuing independent regional support to our systems by providing impartial advice as constructive bodies with significant experience of supporting broader system thinking.
